Rudiger Kaldewey

Rüdiger Kaldewey (* 1939 in Kiel ) is a German religious educator.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1958, Kaldewey studied Catholic theology , German and history in Münster , Freiburg , Würzburg and Saarbrücken . In 1964 he entered the school service. In 1970 he became head of the Catholic religion and has been training young teachers ever since. In 1993, Kaldewey was the first layman and the first man to take over the management of the Saarbrücken Marienschule . In 2004 he was retired as head of the Marienschule. In 2010 he became spokesman for the Saarbrücker Zeitung's council of elders . In 2006 he was president of the Rotary Club Saarbrücken. He is best known for his publications on religious education.
