Rüdiger Möller

Rüdiger Möller (born September 23, 1962 in Kiel ) is a German state civil servant . From 2006 to 2011 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . From November 14, 2011 to 2016, he was head of department at the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Representation in Berlin.

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1982, Möller initially studied law until 1984. From 1984 to 1991 he studied Political Science, Medieval and Modern History, and Public Law, and graduated with a Magister Artium.

From 1991 to 1993 he worked for the Society for Vocational and Political Education in Dömitz, then he switched to the service of the CDU parliamentary group in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. From 2001 he worked in the mobile communications industry, initially at Mobilcom until 2003, then until his appointment as State Secretary and entry into the public service at T-Mobile Germany.

Rüdiger Möller is married.

Political offices

State Secretary (2006–2011)

On November 7, 2006 Möller was appointed State Secretary in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Ministry for Economics, Labor and Tourism, led by Jürgen Seidel (CDU). From October 25, 2011 to November 14, 2011, he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Building and Tourism led by Harry Glawe (CDU). Möller was heard as a witness in connection with his work as State Secretary before the P + S Werften investigative committee of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament.

Head of State Representation MV in Berlin (2011 to 2016)

Möller then moved to the state representation in Berlin from 2011 to 2016. Kerstin Fiedler-Wilhelm , a former member of the state parliament, performed this function until the state elections in 2011 . In 2017, Ilka Lochner replaced him as head of department. Möller moved to the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Ministry of the Interior and Europe .
