Kerstin Fiedler-Wilhelm (born March 25, 1968 in Ueckermünde ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and state employee in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . From 2002 to 2007 she was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Life

Kerstin Fiedler-Wilhelm completed her training as a primary school teacher in 1988. She worked as a teacher in Neubrandenburg until 1991 and then went to the USA as an au pair for a year . After her return she did a controlling training in Rieth until 1993 and then worked in press and public relations for the state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania until 1999. From 1999 to 2002 she worked in the CDU parliamentary offices in the German Bundestag in Bonn and Berlin.

She is non-denominational, married and has one child.

Fiedler-Wilhelm joined the CDU, became deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association Uecker-Randow and was a member of the CDU state board of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and a member of the medium-sized and business association of the CDU / CSU . She became a member of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge and the Blumenthal shooting club. She was elected to the Uecker-Randow district council and in the 2002 state election for the CDU to the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament, to which she belonged from October 22, 2002. There she headed the working group on petitions of the CDU parliamentary group. In the next election in 2007 she was able to confirm her mandate in constituency 35 - Uecker-Randow I. But on October 31, 2007, she resigned from the state parliament to work as a service manager at the representation of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania at the federal government in Berlin. Karin Strenz followed her to the state parliament. In November 2011, Fiedler-Wilhelm was replaced by Rüdiger Möller as head of the state representation in Berlin .
