Rüdiger Messal

Rüdiger Messal (born August 19, 1952 in Woldegk ) is a German political official . From July 2010 to June 2017 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Tuttlingen and completing basic military service, Rüdiger Messal studied economics at the University of Göttingen from 1972 to 1977 , where he graduated with a degree in economics. Immediately afterwards, he worked as a research assistant in Göttingen and obtained his doctorate by 1981. rer. pole.

In the same year, when he was employed as a consultant at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Bonn, he entered public administration.
