Rüdiger Reinecke

Rüdiger Reinecke is a German table tennis player who took part in the 1962 European Championship .

Rüdiger Reinecke played for the TTC Rot-Weiß Hamburg club in the early 1960s . He achieved local success by winning titles at the Hamburg Championship, where he won singles in 1960, mixed with Uschi Isler in 1963 and doubles with Hermann Gerdes in 1964.

In 1962 he was nominated for the individual competitions of the European Championship in West Berlin. Here he defeated Jose Maria Ramon (Spain) and Kent Johansson (Sweden) in the singles, after which he was defeated by the German Dieter Michalek . In doubles with Heinz Niemeyer he won against Kenneth Eloury / Edward O'Neill (Jersey) and then retired against the Belgians Paul Bertrand / Guy Delabarre.

In 1966 he married the Hamburg table tennis player Uschi Isler, who was then number nine in the German rankings.
