State network Saxony-Anhalt
The state network of Saxony-Anhalt deals with rail and bus connections of particular state interest.
General
The state of Saxony-Anhalt and the local transport service Saxony-Anhalt plan together with the districts and finance the state network . This is to ensure that regions in rural areas that are or have been cut off from rail traffic can still be reached by public transport . Buses on the most important national bus routes run at an easily noticeable rhythm during school as well as during the holiday season , from early morning to late evening as PlusBus (every hour) and TaktBus ( every two hours). At the weekend they both run every two hours. At many interfaces , the bus lines are connected to rail transport and other bus lines, so that there are cheap transfer connections. At important bus stops and all train stations there is a notice about the national network with the sign <O> Mein Takt. All national bus routes that operate in the national network can be recognized by the sign <O> Mein Takt.
The first national bus routes were introduced on March 10, 2008 in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel .
In addition to the national lines, important tourism projects are also being implemented. On April 4, 2009, the north- south Harz crossing in Selke and Wippertal was started as a WiSel project. With further support from the districts of Harz and Mansfeld-Südharz , the Wippra transport hub has been expanded and the range of buses on weekends has been expanded. This enables connections between Harzgerode , Sangerhausen and Klostermansfeld with the transport company Verkehrsgesellschaft Südharz , Wipperliese and the then Q-Bus local transport company every two hours.
Between the timetable change in December 2009 and the timetable change in December 2019 (last published on December 9, 2018), a separate timetable book with all railway lines and all important bus lines in the state of Saxony-Anhalt was published annually .
Due to closed train stations, individual bus routes are being expanded with additional travel offers, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
With the timetable change on December 15, 2019, the bus routes in PlusBus and TaktBus were standardized.
Tariff
In addition to the marego. , MDV and VTO and the pay scale of the respective transport companies are also tickets for travel on the bus Deutsche Bahn recognized, but not sold. These would be the country ticket and the Bahncard .
Line network
Train traffic
All local train connections within Saxony-Anhalt run in the state network . Exceptions are trains from DB Fernverkehr , the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways and the Mansfeld Mining Railway .

The state of Saxony-Anhalt is examining together with the districts whether further bus lines will be added to the state network. In the next few years, individual bus routes will also be changed in some cases after checking, in the route or in the timetable. Individual lines are also being removed from the regional rail-bus network.
