Rüdiger Wandel

Rüdiger Wandel (* 1953 in Göttingen ) is a German actor .

Life

He completed his acting training at the State University for Music and Theater in Hanover . His first engagements took him to the Grips Theater , later to the Schillertheater Berlin , where he took part in plays such as the Thalbach production The Tragedy of Macbeth . However, he kept coming back to his brains, where he eventually worked as a director . So he received the Friedrich-Luft-Preis in 1996 for one in the face . One of his most famous productions, which he wrote with Volker Ludwig , was Line 2 - The Nightmare .

He was best known on German television as Tatort commissioner Günter Gächter, Bienzle's assistant, whom he played for 16 years since 1992. For the cinema, for example, he shot The Storyteller (Director: Rainer Boldt) and worked in various television series, such as Wachtmeister Musial in the ZDF children's series Siebenstein or with guest appearances in Peter Strohm , Sperling and Alarm for Cobra 11 .
