Sperling and the Crocodile in the Garbage is a German TV film directed by Peter Schulze-Rohr from 2001 . It is the tenth episode of the ZDF crime film series Sperling with Dieter Pfaff in the title role.

The chief inspector Hans Sperling finds little Martin Forster frightened and disturbed in a dumpster . The inspector wonders how the boy got there. His parents and his personal environment leave no reason to be shown. In addition, Sperling is investigating a case of illegal drug deals, in which the little boy's father is strangely involved.
