Hans-Joachim Grubel
Hans-Joachim "Achim" Grubel (born January 7, 1944 in Mulhouse , Alsace , † August 4, 2004 in Berlin ) was a German actor .
Life
Achim Grubel completed his acting training at the drama school "Der Kreis" (Fritz Kirchhoff School) in Berlin, where he also found his artistic home. For many years he played at various Berlin theaters such as the Kammerspiele and the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin . He was also the founder of the Spandau Summer Festival .
In addition, Grubel worked extensively as an actor for film and television. He often played the type of the little man or the likeable loser, for example in the title role of the television satire Der Erdnussmann (1992), for which he received the Max Ophüls Prize in 1992 . Grubel also played in other humorous productions such as Der Schnüffler and Didi - The Doppelganger next to Dieter Hallervorden or in the satirical TV films Halali or Der Schuß ins Brötchen or Pull the plug out, the water boils (based on Ephraim Kishon ). He achieved great popularity as the assistant to Chief Inspector Sperling, whom he embodied in 14 films of the crime series of the same name on ZDF between 1996 and 2004 .
Grubel, who had lived in the Berlin artists' colony for a long time , died on August 4, 2004 after a serious illness. Grubel was married three times, including the actress Gabriele Schramm , known from the television series Drei Damen vom Grill . He left an illegitimate son.
Grubel was buried in the Stubenrauchstrasse cemetery in Berlin-Friedenau .
