Sperling and the great word of honor is a German television film by Sibylle Tafel from 2000 . It is the ninth episode of the ZDF crime film series Sperling with Dieter Pfaff in the title role.
action
The chief inspector Hans Sperling is privately in the move, so he has to face the death of a security guard after a robbery of a jeweler . The silent Hanna Schmidt is the only witness to the crime. However, she is reluctant to cooperate with the police because her husband was shot by officers at the time. Sperling gives Hanna the promise to take her and her son Florian into a witness protection program, which he ultimately cannot keep. Finally, Hanna agrees to create a phantom picture that leads to the convicted Karl Lindemann.
