Sperling and the Silent Scream is a German TV film directed by Marcus O. Rosenmüller from 2002 . It is the twelfth episode of the ZDF crime film series Sperling with Dieter Pfaff in the title role.

Chief Inspector Hans Sperling spends his annual vacation on Usedom , where Paul Gehricke's hut catches fire. Gehricke's daughter Mara was saved from the flames by Sperling. During his vacation, the Berlin commissioner looks at the past life and the blows of fate of the family. Ms. Gehricke has been in a wheelchair since an accident.
