Rügen TV is a private television station on the island of Rügen . The station provides information on current events from society, politics, economy, culture and sport and can be received via the island's cable network - both analogue and digital. With 18,578 cable connections , 45,000 viewers (technical range) can watch the weekly program on their home television. Furthermore, the website is regularly maintained and updated weekly.

history

The training channel rügencampus tv & media production existed until December 31, 2010 and was financed by subsidies. The license for regional television was taken over by Thomas Eggers on January 1, 2011, but was given back in March 2011. With the founding of Rügen TV, the regional broadcaster was realigned for marketing in tourism areas. From June 2011 Rügen TV was a company of Inselfernsehen Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG and a subsidiary of the Nordkurier media group . Rügen TV is currently part of MeckPomm GmbH & Co. KG. Heinz Merkel is the managing director.

The transmitter

Rügen TV produces in Stralsund on the premises of FAS GmbH on the old market. The former production rooms are located in the city center in Bergen on Rügen. The team consists of an editor and a media designer. Together with FAS - Fernsehen am Strelasund, the broadcaster is currently training three trainees for the apprenticeship as media designer for image and sound .

program

The Rügen TV team produces a weekly program of 25 minutes called "Insel & Meer". A short message block is an integral part of every broadcast. The products offered by the broadcaster range from PR films and commercials of various lengths to patronage and billboards.

Formats

In addition to the weekly program "Insel & Meer", the formats "Wirtschaftsfenster", "Inside Sport" and an updated calendar of events appear regularly.
