Rıza Tevfik Bölükbaşı (* 1869 in Svilengrad , Bulgaria , † 1949 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish politician , philosopher , poet and one of the leaders of the Bektashi - Community .

Bölükbaşı graduated from medicine in 1897. Riza Tevik Bölükbaşı was the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Turkey in 1918 . In 1918 he became Minister of Education and in 1919 he was President of the State Court for a short time. In 1920, Bölükbaşı was a member of the Turkish delegation and a signatory to the Treaty of Sèvres . Because he had signed by Turkish nationalists as humiliating perceived contract that he was from the Republic of Turkey after the Turkish War of Liberation to persona non grata declared and was part of the 150 people ( Turkish Yüzellilikler ), after the Treaty of Lausanne not 1923 in Turkey were allowed to come back.
