Karl Heinrich Wilhelm Louis Rosenbusch
Karl Heinrich Wilhelm Louis Rosenbusch ( pseudonym : R. Hartmann ; born August 22, 1840 in Sankt Andreasberg ; † March 13, 1895 in Hanover ) was a German teacher and writer .
Life
Rosenbusch acquired the citizenship of the city of Hanover on May 5, 1882 and then became the main teacher at the Citizens' School XIV in Schaufelder Strasse .
Under the pseudonym R. Hartmann , Rosenbusch wrote, according to the address book of the city of Hanover from 1955, "the first significant city history of Hanover". Allegedly Rosenbusch chose his pseudonym "because he did not agree with the text changes forced by his publisher Ernst Kniep ."
Honors
- The rose bush walk laid out in the Hanoverian district of Waldheim in 1954 honors the writer by giving it its name.
