The RWD-11 was a Polish touring and feeder aircraft of the 1930s that did not get beyond the prototype stage.

construction

The RWD-11 was a cantilever low-wing aircraft in composite construction . The fuselage consisted of a welded tubular steel construction that was partly covered with plywood and partly covered with fabric. The wooden wings had two main spars and were equipped with HP slotted wings and split ailerons . There was a 140-liter fuel tank in each. During the test, the aircraft was equipped with two different types of tail units : a normal cross tail unit and a double tail unit , both of which were self-supporting. The chassis comprised two main wheels on oil-air suspension struts that could be retracted backwards into the engine pods and a rigid rear wheel.
