The RWM-Depesche is a special-interest journal with scientific standards for weapons technology and military history . It is aimed especially at gun collectors and orderly shooters , less at hunters and sport shooters . The chief editor is Elmar Heinz.

The name of the magazine, which stands for Telegram , goes back to the French word dispatch ; RWM stands for "Research on Weapons Technology & Military History". It appears quarterly, i.e. H. in February, May, August and November, and has been distributed by RWM-Verlag from Eltville am Rhein in Hesse since 2011 . Each issue deals with a topic of black powder , edged weapons or nitro powder.

Among the current 21 employees who can bring experience from military history collections and museums and the journalistic area in part are recognized military historian as Klaus-Jürgen Bremm , Elmar Heinz and Dieter Storz , all Werner Hahlweg winners of military history and military science of the last Years.
