Raúl Mazorra

Raúl Mazorra ( Raúl Giraldo Mazorra Zamora; born December 5, 1928 in Marianao , Havana , † January 7, 2002 in Havana) was a Cuban sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was eliminated over 100 m and 200 m in the preliminary run.

In 1951 he was fifth at the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires in the 200 m and won silver with the Cuban team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 he reached the quarterfinals over 200 m and failed over 100 m in the first round.

In 1954 he won bronze over 100 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games in Mexico City.
