Rachel Rice
Rachel Rice (born March 7, 1984 in Torfaen , South Wales ) is a Welsh actress and model . In 2008, she won the ninth season of the television show Big Brother in the UK .
Life
Rice was born on March 7, 1984 in Torfaen as the youngest of four children. She has two brothers and a sister.
At the age of eight, Rice played alongside Hugh Grant in her first film, Night Train to Venice . Other smaller roles in films followed . In 1994 she had guest appearances (for one episode each ) in the television series Sherlock Holmes ( The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes ) and The Lifeboat . Rice also appeared in about 20 TV commercials .
In 2003 she finished second in the Miss Wales election .
Rice moved into the house on June 5, 2008 as a contestant for the ninth season of Big Brother UK . She became Head of House for a week on the 59th day and made friends with the favorite Kathreya (Kat) and the blind Michael during her stay. On September 5th, after 93 days, Rice beat Michael with 51.3%.
