Radio Televizija Republike Srpske (Радио Телевизија Републике Српске), abbreviated to RTRS / РТРС , is the public television broadcaster of the Republika Srpska , based in Banja Luka .
The station belongs to the public service broadcaster Radio-Televizija Republike Srpske (RTRS), which also operates the radio station Radio Republike Srpske .
history
Although the public service broadcaster of the Republika Srpska was only founded on December 30, 1993, the public service television station began broadcasting on April 19, 1992. The first broadcast was news .
The RTRS internet service was launched in 2001 and was modernized at the end of 2002, March 2004, March 2009 and October 2012.
Since June 2003 Televizija Republike Srpske has also broadcast teletext , which was modernized twice in October 2004.
The general director of the broadcaster was Dragan Davidović from 2002 to 2013, and Rajko Radovanović since October 1, 2013.

RTRS sends 18 hours a day on working days . A 24-hour program is broadcast on weekends . The proportion of in- house productions in the overall program is 55 percent .
reception
The station is broadcast throughout the Republika Srpska on analog terrestrial television . This is why terrestrial reception is also possible in parts of Serbia , Montenegro and Croatia . The station has been available via satellite since June 2007 . A live stream is also offered, making the station receivable worldwide.
