Radio Donnersberg

Radio Donnersberg was a regional radio broadcaster in Rhineland-Palatinate based in the city of Kirchheimbolanden . The transmission area was the Donnersbergkreis .

The license for the station was granted on May 13, 1991, initially the station was only represented in the cable network. It was not until 1994 that the terrestrial frequency 97.1 MHz for Kirchheimbolanden was received. Two more frequencies were added later with 87.6 MHz in Rockenhausen and 94.8 MHz in Eisenberg . Filling stations in Obermoschel and Winnweiler were planned, but were no longer put into operation.

On January 2, 2003, Radio Donnersberg ceased broadcasting. The frequencies were taken over by Rockland Radio .
