Adele Radnitzky-Mandlick

Adele Radnitzky-Mandlick (born November 18, 1864 in Vienna , † September 22, 1932 in Mödling ) was a musician , pianist and piano teacher.

Adele Radnitzky-Mandlick was a student of Julius Epstein . Together with her husband, the violinist Franz Radnitzky , she gave numerous house concerts.

One of her best-known students is Alma Mahler-Werfel , who she taught during her youth from 1892. With her she developed an extensive repertoire , which included Robert Schumann , Franz Schubert and Richard Wagner , among others . Adele Radnitzky-Mandlick also introduced her students to chamber music and organized audition afternoons where the young women could meet other musicians.
