Rahel Hutmacher

Rahel Hutmacher (born September 14, 1944 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Rahel Hutmacher trained as a qualified librarian and then headed a library in Zurich from 1966 to 1971 . From 1971 to 1975 she studied psychology ; she finished her studies with a degree in psychology. She then practiced as a psychotherapist in Zurich and from 1977 temporarily in Düsseldorf ; She also worked as a lecturer in psychological conversation and supervision . In addition to her work as a psychologist , she published several volumes of prose texts in the 1980s . Rahel Hutmacher received a recognition award from the city of Zurich in 1980 and the sponsorship award from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for literature . In 1981 she was awarded the Rauris Literature Prize .
