The region's first Raiffeisen building was in Oberpleichfeld. The "Creditverein Oberpleichfeld" was founded here in 1870. This was the first association in Bavaria to put Raiffeisen's idea into practice. The resulting Raiffeisenbank in Oberpleichfeld is still a branch of Raiffeisenbank Estenfeld-Bergtheim eG.
In 2000, Raiffeisenbank Estenfeld-Kürnach-Unterpleichfeld eG merged with Raiffeisenbank Bergtheim-Fährbrück eG. This resulted in today's Raiffeisenbank Estenfeld-Bergtheim eG.
