The Raiffeisenbank Kocher-Jagst was created in 2001 through the merger of the Raiffeisenbanks Ingelfingen, Niedernhall , Mulfingen , Dörzbach and Schöntal .
On June 6, 2019, the general assembly of Raiffeisenbank Kocher-Jagst approved the merger with Raiffeisenbank Bretzfeld-Neuenstein to form Raiffeisenbank Hohenloher Land eG with 94.94% yes-votes .

The bank's legal basis is the Cooperative Society Act and the Articles of Association . The organs of the cooperative bank are the board of directors , the supervisory board and the representative assembly . The bank is part of the officially recognized BVR Institutssicherung GmbH and the additional voluntary protection scheme of the Federal Association of Deutsche Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken e. V. connected.
