Raimund Litschko (born August 21, 1967 in Sonneberg ) is a former German ski jumper .

Career

Raimund Litschko grew up in Mengersgereuth-Hammern , where he still lives today (today the Frankenblick community ). He trained at SC Motor Zella-Mehlis with Reinhard Heß, among others, and made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup on December 30, 1986 at the opening event for the Four Hills Tournament in 1986/87 in Oberstdorf . In the Four Hills Tournament, however, he could not achieve any World Cup points or top placements. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1987 in Oberstdorf, he also fell short of expectations with 58th place on the large hill. From the normal hill, however, he surprisingly jumped to 15th place and in the team competition he jumped to 5th place together with Mike Arnold , Ulf Findeisen and Jens Weißflog . In his first competition after the World Championships in Planica , Litschko reached 10th place in ski flying and thus his first and only World Cup points. With these points he finished 60th in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the 1986/87 season . In the following season 1987/88 Litschko entered again in the Four Hills Tournament, but ended his career after a serious knee injury.
