Raimundas Leonas Rajeckas

Raimundas Leonas Rajeckas (born October 27, 1937 in Šiauliai , † August 11, 1997 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian politician and economist .

Life

From 1942 he lived in Panevėžys . After graduation in 1954 at the first middle school he graduated from in 1959 the diploma studies at the Kaunas University of Technology , in 1964 the postgraduate . In 1970 he completed his habilitation in economics . From 1972 he was a professor. From 1987 to 1992 he taught at the Vilniaus universitetas . He headed the chair for business cybernetics . From 1987 to 1992 he was Vice President of Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 1988 he was a member of Sąjūdis . From 1994 he was ambassador and from 1996 to 1997 a member of the Seimas .

Raimundas Leonas Rajeckas died in Vilnius in 1997. His grave is in the Rokantiškės cemetery .
