Rainer Dörner
Rainer Dörner (born August 28, 1937 in Rosenthal-Bielatal ) is a former German obstacle runner who started for the GDR .
In 1962 he was eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was eliminated in advance.
In 1963 he was GDR champion over 3000 m obstacle . He set his personal best of 8: 39.6 minutes on July 22nd, 1962 in Celje .
Dörner started for the SC Empor Rostock .
