List of German champions in the 3000 meter obstacle course

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the 3000 m obstacle course , four fixed obstacles and one hurdle with a moat have to be overcome on each of the seven and a half stadiums. As in the 400 meter hurdles , the height of the obstacles is 91.44 cm for men and 76.20 cm for women.

The men's competition has been held at the German Athletics Championships since 1910 . In the years 1914 to 1918, 1921 to 1932, 1934 and 1944 to 1946 there were no German championships in this discipline. The competition was then seamlessly included in the championship program of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1948 , and champions over 3000 m obstacles were determined in the GDR from 1950 . For women, there have only been official championships over this obstacle course since 2002.
