Karl Bebendorf (born May 7, 1996 in Dresden ) is a German middle-distance runner . In 2019 and 2020 he became German champion in the 3,000 meter obstacle course .
Athletic career
Bebendorf has been training at Dresdner SC since 2005 . At the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow in 2019 , he took part in an international competition for the first time and finished seventh over 1500 meters. After he had not competed in the obstacle course since 2016 , he competed in the German Championships in 2019 on the 3000 meter obstacle course and was able to win the title straight away. The following year he successfully defended this title.
