Rainer Gopp

Rainer Gopp (born August 1, 1971 in Vaduz ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( progressive citizens' party ).

biography

Gopp comes from Ruggell and is married. He completed a commercial apprenticeship and then continued his education in the areas of project, sports and nonprofit management. From 2003 to 2006 he studied economics at the University of Liechtenstein . From 2005 to 2010 he was managing director of Sindus AG in Vaduz , from 2011 to 2016 managing director of Unternehmerzentrum AG in Eschen . Since 2007 he has been a partner and managing director of Sano AG in Eschen.

In February 2009, Gopp was elected to the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the Progressive Citizens' Party . There he was a member of the business audit commission from March 2009 to December 2009, and from March 2009 to March 2013 a member of the Liechtenstein delegation to the Lake Constance Parliamentary Commission. In the course of the state elections on February 3, 2013 , he became a deputy member of parliament. Gopp was now a deputy in the Liechtenstein delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe . After Gerold Büchel resigned his mandate as a member of parliament in December 2015, Gopp replaced him and has been a member of parliament again since January 2016. At the same time he replaced Büchel as head of the delegation. His party colleague Hubert Lampert took over the vacant post as deputy representative .
