Rainer Guth

Rainer Guth (born January 16, 1970 in Mainz ) is a German politician (independent) and since 2017 District Administrator of the Donnersbergkreis .

Career

Guth studied forestry and industrial engineering and graduated with a degree in forest engineering (FH) and diploma in industrial engineering (FH). He then passed the administrative examination for the senior service .

In 2017, Rainer Guth was jointly put up by the CDU and FWG (Free Voting Association) as a candidate for the district administrator in the Donnersbergkreis after the previous district administrator Winfried Werner announced that he did not want to run for reasons of age. He won the election in the first ballot with 51.9 percent of the vote and was thus elected district administrator of the Donnersbergkreis.

Guth lives in Eisenberg with his wife and their two daughters.
