Rainer Holl (* 1983 in Neuwied ) is a German author, poetry slammer and presenter.

Act

Growing up near Neuwied , Holl studied Applied Literature and Cultural Studies at the TU Dortmund and Swinburne University in Melbourne , in 2012 he received his Master's degree in Applied Literature and Cultural Studies and was awarded the faculty's best class prize for his work on David Foster Wallace Cultural Studies of the TU Dortmund awarded.

Since 2009 Rainer Holl has appeared with his prosaic and lyrical texts at various series of literary events. He is the organizer, participant and moderator of classic poetry slams , beer slams, jazz slams, reading stages or science slams in the entire German-speaking area. He also works as a freelance lecturer and workshop leader in the field of creative writing . Holl worked from 2013 to 2015 as the artistic director of the Literaturhaus Dortmund.

Holl currently lives and works in Leipzig .
