Rainer Kahrs

Rainer Kahrs is a German journalist and author. He works as a freelance television reporter and radio author for various ARD stations .

biography

Kahrs grew up in the area surrounding Bremen and became a Protestant deacon after finishing school . He has been creating radio features since 1993, and has also been active as a television reporter since 1997. Kahrs is a member of the editorial team of the regional television magazine buten un binnen at Radio Bremen . For the programs Tagesthemen , monitor (magazine) and other magazine programs, he created magazine pieces. His television documentaries were shown on ARD and arte . In 2013 and 2014 he taught research at the University of Bremen. He is currently working on a documentary about the shipping crisis. Lives in Berlin.
