Rainer Kulms

Rainer Kulms (born before 1982) is a German lawyer and university professor .

Life

He received his Master of Laws from the University of Michigan in 1982 and his doctorate in Hamburg in 1987 . He then worked as a legal advisor in industry for several years. After completing his habilitation in Hamburg in 1999, he was co-editor from 2000 to 2002 and since 2003 editor-in-chief of the European Business Organization Law Review. He has lectureships at the University of Hamburg (European Master Program in Law and Economics), in the Lent Term 2008 Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge . Since 2009 he has been a member of the 'Flying Faculty' of the China-EU School of Law in Beijing and has taught as a guest lecturer at the universities of Belgrade , Timisoara and Tirana as well as at Chinese universities. In April 2017 he was appointed adjunct professor at the School of Law and Economics at the China University of Political Science and Law .

His main research interests are civil law, German, European and US-American commercial, company and economic law (including economic references), and comparative law.
