Rainer Laux

Rainer Laux (born June 12, 1961 in Andernach ) is a German television producer .

From 1982 to 1988 he studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and has worked as a journalist in various positions for the TV channels ARD , ZDF and Pro Sieben since 1987 .

From 2000, Laux worked as a delegated producer for the television production company Endemol , where he was superordinate to an executive producer , where he was responsible for the very popular formats Big Brother , Only Love Counts and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire . In 2010, Laux left Endemol, but came back in 2014 to take over as “Director Reality” the celebrity Big Brother format, which had fallen short of expectations in the previous year .
