Rainer Schade

Rainer Schade (born May 29, 1951 in Leipzig ) is a German painter , graphic artist , cartoonist and university professor .

Life

Schade studied 1971-1976 at the University of Graphic and Book Art Leipzig (HGB) with Mayer-Foreyt, Werner Tübke and Rolf Kuhrt . Since his diploma, Schade has been working as a freelancer in the fields of art in construction, conception, consulting, free painting / graphics, illustration, cartoon, animation film. From 1977 to 1978 he completed his master's degree with Stanislaw Fialkowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lòdz, Poland . 1982–1987 participation in the advisory board for architecture-related art of the city of Leipzig. In 1988 Schade appeared as a deputy member of the Rostock District Council for Culture and Greifswald City Councilor for Culture. From 1979 Schade was assistant for painting / graphics at the Burg Giebichenstein Art Academy in Halle , where he has been a professor in the art department since 1992 . Since 1992 Schade has participated in the appointment commissions of the universities in Halle , Dessau and Schneeberg . Since 1995 he has been chairman of the Leipziger Jahresausstellung eV art association
