Raitbach is a district of the municipality of Pörnbach in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . Until 1971 it was the seat of the municipality of the same name .

The church village Raitbach is located 2 kilometers south of the core town of Pörnbach.

history

The Catholic branch church of St. Erhard is essentially late Romanesque (14th / early 15th century). The municipality of Raitbach, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, was incorporated into the municipality of Pörnbach on January 1, 1971 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
