The Rajon Lychakiv (Ukrainian Личаківський район / Lytschakiwskyj rayon , Russian Лычаковский район / Lytschakowski rayon ) is one of six city rajone the western Ukrainian city of Lviv .
The name is derived from the name of the Lychakiv district , it is located east of the center of the city of Lviv and includes the districts / neighborhoods:
- Jaliwez (Ялівець; Polish Jałowiec )
- Lychakiv (Личаків; Polish Łyczaków , German formerly Lützenhof )
- Lysynytschi (Лисиничі, Polish Lesienice )
- Majoriwka (Майорівка; Polish Majerówka , German formerly Meierhof )
- Pohuljanka (Погулянка; Polish Pohulanka )
- Snesinnja (Знесіння; Polish Zniesienie )
- Kajserwald (Кайзервальд; Polish Cesarski lasek , German formerly Kaiserwald )

In addition there is the city of Wynnyky administratively .
The Rajon was created in early 1940 under the name Tscherwonoarmijsk Rajon (Червоноармійський район) and was renamed on May 16, 1992 to its current name.
