Sjanno district
The Sjanno Raion ( Belarusian Сенненскі раён ; Russian Сенненский район ) is an administrative unit in the southeast of the Vitebskaya Woblasz in Belarus with the administrative center in the city of Sjanno . The Rajon has an area of 1964 km² and includes 335 settlements.

The Sjanno Rajon is located in the southeast of the Vitebskaya Woblasz. The neighboring rays in the Vitebsk region are in the west Tschaschniki , in the north-west Besankovichy , in the north-east Vitebsk , in the east Lyosna , in the south-east Orsha and in the south Talachyn .
history
Sjanno Rajon was formed on July 17, 1924.
