Ralf Grabow (born September 14, 1965 in Rostock ; † May 3, 2013 ibid) was a German politician ( non-party , until 2011 FDP ). From 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . He was spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group for social affairs and seniors. Ralf Grabow was chairman of the committee for social affairs and health.

After his school education in the GDR Grabow completed an apprenticeship as an electrician , later he did further training in the commercial area.

Grabow is one of the founders of the disability movement in the GDR. After the fall of the Berlin Wall he was the deputy federal and state chairman of the general association for the disabled in Germany . His partisan career began in February 2001 when he joined the FDP. From 2005 to 2011 he was deputy district chairman of the FDP Rostock. In autumn 2005 he was elected fourth on the state list at the state party conference in Rostock. He headed the FDP state committee for social affairs, family and health . In 2011 Grabow ended his FDP membership after internal quarrels in his district association, but stated that he wanted to keep his mandate in the Rostock citizenship. When he left the party, the FDP lost its parliamentary group status in the Rostock citizenship.

Grabow was also the chairman of the non-profit association “Ohne-Barrieren eV”.

Ralf Grabow died on May 3, 2013 at the age of 47 after a brief serious illness.
