life and career

The former defender's greatest strength was his advance from his own half into the opponent's. The Irishman made his first appearance for Manchester United in 1958 against Sheffield Wednesday . In 1965 and 1967 he was English champion with the Red Devils. In 1968 he was also champion cup winner with ManU. Although Brennan was actually born in England, he played for the Irish national football team with the help of FIFA . He ended his career after 355 games and six goals for Manchester United. His farewell game was on August 14, 1986. The Shamrock Rovers played against Manchester United and won 2-0.
