Ralf Leinemann

Ralf Leinemann (* 1962 in Gütersloh ) is a German lawyer , honorary professor and art patron .

Life

Leinemann studied law in Würzburg and Cologne as well as politics and history at the State University of New York (BA, 1985). After completing his doctorate in Cologne, he began working as a lawyer in 1992, first in Düsseldorf, then in Berlin, where in January 2000 he founded the law firm “Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte”. With around 100 lawyers, it is one of the leading law firms in construction and public procurement law in Germany.

Leinemann is repeatedly involved in projects with great public interest such as JadeWeserPort , BER Airport , A1 mobil (A1 Hamburg-Bremen motorway operator ) and other PPP motorway projects. Since 2007 he has been honorary professor for construction law at the Berlin School of Economics and Law .

He is the (co-) editor of the magazines VergabeNews , VergabeNavigator and NZBau and author of publications such as “The award of public contracts”, “VOB / B Commentary with FIDIC Conditions” and the Leinemann / Kues, BGB-Bauvertragsrecht Commentary.

In 2008 he founded the non-profit “Leinemann Foundation for Education and Art” with his wife, the lawyer and notary Eva-Dorothee Leinemann. From 2010 to 2014, the foundation awarded the “HFBK Design Prize of the Leinemann Foundation for Education and Art” endowed with 4,000 euros annually in recognition of young designers in Hamburg.
