Ralf Lewe (born May 13, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The defender and midfielder Ralf Lewe began his career at DJK Mark Altstadt in Bochum 's Wattenscheid district . At the age of ten he moved to the youth department of SG Wattenscheid 09 . On November 29, 1986 he made his professional debut in the second division game against Eintracht Braunschweig , which Wattenscheid won 1-0. In 1990 Lewe rose with Wattenscheid as runner-up behind Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga . Lewe then moved to TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus in the then third-class Oberliga Westfalen . In 1992 he switched to league rivals Prussia Münster . Lewe became champions with the Prussians in 1993, but failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga at Rot-Weiss Essen .

A year later, he and the Münster team qualified for the newly created Regionalliga West / Südwest . Lewe then moved to FC Gütersloh , who missed the regional league qualification. With the Güterslohern he rose twice in a row and reached the 2nd Bundesliga in 1996. From this the club rose in 1999 and had to be dissolved in the spring of 2000 due to insolvency . Lewe played for two years for the successor club FC Gütersloh 2000 before ending his career in 2002. In the 2008/09 season Ralf Lewe worked as assistant coach of the women's team at FC Gütersloh 2000 .

Ralf Lewe took in 1985 with the German U-16 national team at the World Cup in the People's Republic of China in part. In the final, Germany lost 2-0 to Nigeria .
