Ralf Mielke

Ralf Mielke (born April 23, 1963 in Lübbenau / Spreewald ) is a German flautist .

Life

Mielke attended the special school for music in Halle from 1975 to 1980 . He then studied flute with Erich List, Claus Schönert and Heinz Horzsch at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music in Leipzig . He also played at the Altenburg State Theater .

From 1985 to 1989 he worked as solo flutist at the Landestheater Dessau and later at the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra under Max Pommer . In 1990 he was engaged as principal flutist at the Hallesches Philharmonie (from 1991 Philharmonic State Orchestra Halle). Since the orchestra merger in 2006, he has been playing in the Staatskapelle Halle .

He was a member of the Konfrontation ensemble and a founding member of the Avantgarde Ensemble around Steffen Schleiermacher , with which he has received several awards. He toured Europe, Asia and South America and published various titles.
