Ralf Veidemann (born October 7, 1913 in Estonia ; † February 2, 2009 ) was an Estonian football player of German-Baltic origin.

Career

Ralf Veidemann played in his active career for the Estonian capital club JK Tallinna Kalev . Veidemann made his debut for the Estonian national team on June 3, 1937 against Lithuania in a friendly in Kaunas . With the Estonian selection, the striker took part in qualifying for the 1938 World Cup in France the following year and was used there in two of three qualifying games. Veidemann was used in the two away games against Finland in Turku and Germany in Königsberg . With the Estonian national team, however, he could not qualify for the World Cup.

Veidemann also took part in the Baltic Cup twice. When he first participated in 1937 he was second with Estonia, the following year at the Baltic Cup in 1938 he won the title and was the top scorer of the competition with two goals. The last international match out of a total of 13 he made under the Soviet occupation against Latvia on July 18, 1940, after the Red Army from 15-17. June 1940 annexed the three Baltic countries in World War II .
