Ralph Sina

Ralph Sina (* 1955 in Oberhausen ) is a German radio journalist . He works as an EU - correspondent in Brussels , where he heads the WDR / NDR -Hörfunkstudio.

Life

Ralph Sina grew up in Essen . He studied German and philosophy for teaching in Bochum and Münster . In 1986 he became editor and reporter in the WDR regional studio in Münster. In 1992 he moved to the Cologne WDR headquarters and worked as an editor and presenter for the WDR2 morning magazine.

From 1996 onwards several vacation replacements followed in the ARD radio studio in Nairobi. From 1998 to 2003 Sina was ARD radio correspondent in Nairobi for Central and East Africa for five years . There he experienced the consequences of the Al-Qaida attack on the US embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in 1998. From 2003 to 2007 he headed the WDR2 morning magazine in Cologne. He was then a correspondent in the United States for over six years during the Obama presidency. Ralph Sina has been the director of the WDR / NDR studio in Brussels since August 2014 . As an EU radio correspondent he is u. a. Guest in the Berlin Phoenix-Runde, at the international morning pint and the current hour of the WDR.
