Ramón Ismael Medina Bello (born April 29, 1966 in Gualeguay ) is a former Argentine national soccer player .
Career
societies
Medina Bello began his career in 1986 with the Argentine capital club Racing Club de Avellaneda, who had just returned to the Primera División . In 1989 he moved to the Argentine record champions River Plate Buenos Aires and rose there to national team. With River Plate, Medina Bello won the Argentine championship three times between 1989 and 1994, to which the striker made a significant contribution with a total of 47 goals in 140 games. In 1994 he moved to Japan to the Yokohama Marinos , with whom he was able to celebrate the Japanese football championship in 1995. After two years in Japan, he returned to River Plate in 1996, but did not find his strength there. 1997 followed a change within the league to Atlético Talleres . After two more or less disappointing years there, the then 33-year-old was left without a club. After two further engagements with lower-class clubs, Medina Bello ended his active career in 2005.
National team
Medina Bello made her debut for the Argentina national football team in 1991 . He scored his first goal in 1992. He was part of the Argentine squad at both the Copa América 1991 and 1993 ; Argentina won the title both times. At the 1994 World Cup in the USA, he was also part of the Argentine squad. In the 2-0 defeat in the preliminary round against Bulgaria , he came on in the 67th minute for Leonardo Rodríguez . He was also used when Argentina were eliminated by the 3-2 defeat by Romania in the round of 16 when he came on for Roberto Néstor Sensini in the 63rd minute . In the same year Medina Bello completed his last international match and was no longer considered after his move to Japan.
