The Ramme is a river in the north of Lower Saxony. The source of the river is in the village of Revenahe, Sauensiek municipality , in the immediate vicinity of the L127 between meadows. In the further course the Ramme joins the Oste at Groß Meckelsen , whose course continues into the Elbe .

course

For the most part, the ram runs between meadows, fields and forests. The Ramme flows through the following places: Source at Revenahe - Wiegersen - Wohnste - Ramshausen - confluence with the Oste at Groß Meckelsen / Sittensen

ecology

The ram is largely straightened. In particular in areas of the upper reaches in the Wiegersener Wald area, however, there are also natural structures in places. The development potential of the water body is currently being promoted through compensation and replacement measures in the Sittensen area.
