Ramon Llorens Pujadas (born November 1, 1906 in Barcelona , † 1985 ) was a Spanish football goalkeeper and coach.
Career
Llorens played for FC Barcelona from 1921 and joined the first team in 1925. From 1929, when the Spanish Primera División began its league operations, Llorens was most of the time only active as a substitute goalkeeper. He played his first league game in the 1929/30 season on January 5, 1930 in a 4-2 win over Atlético Madrid . In the following season , Llorens was used six times, including a 1:12 against Athletic Bilbao , Barça's highest league defeat to date. His next and last league game followed over four years later in the 1935/36 season in a 4-0 defeat against Racing Santander . In total, he played for FC Barcelona for 15 years and played 98 professional games during that time. With Barcelona he won the Spanish championship , the Spanish Cup and eight times the Catalan championship .
After initially working as an assistant coach at FC Barcelona, he was appointed head coach in 1950. He took over the coaching post from Enrique Fernández shortly before the end of the 1949/50 season , which Barcelona finished fifth in the table. After this season Barcelona found a new coach in Ferdinand Daučík .
