Ramon Miles (born November 11, 1986 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ; actually Roman Mischitz ) is an Austrian musician and singer-songwriter .

biography

Ramon Miles (civil: Roman Mischitz) began as a musician in various bands at the end of the 90s. He made his first stage experience in 2002 as the guitarist of the pop punk band Thirteen which later changed its name to Thirteen Days .

He did club and festival shows through Europe and was involved as a singer, songwriter and guitarist on several albums produced by the alternative rock band Thirteen Days (2008-2015). From 2014 to 2016 he was bassist for the Viennese punk band Gogets . In 2015 he decided to become active as a solo musician.

Heavy storms

After more than two years of preparation and around 60 concerts during this time, work began on his debut album Heavy Storms , which was released on June 1, 2018 on the Koschu Music Group label. Ramon Miles composed and arranged all the songs himself. On the album produced by the Italian Francesco Catitti, he is accompanied by a permanent band with whom he performs live as Ramon Miles & the Wise Monkeys .

The first single Imagination was released in June 2017. Heavy rotations followed at radio stations in Austria and Germany. In addition, in February 2018 he was named “Newcomer of the Month” by Big FM Germany with the song . After this success, the musician released his second single Radiate in autumn 2017 .
